Hi! I’m Kelly, sometimes known as Rook, fortis, or fortwas. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, but I have since moved out west. I’m currently working at an itty-bitty public library where I run all the cool programs for teens and adults.
I graduated from Brigham Young University with a major in English and minors in creative writing and professional writing and rhetoric.
I love producing and consuming art, poetry, novels, video games, videos, and anything creative. I love fantasy and sci-fi, manga and graphic novels, trashy romance and bad poetry. I love trees, birds, bugs, and obscure places. I love words and communities, vivid colors and unique styles. I love the way light soaks through glass on a quiet morning.
